American Friends of Germany gains over 1.000,- € through charity auction

On Friday, July 18th, the art-gallery “Planet Vivid” in Frankfurt am Main/Germany and the artists of the gallery organized, in co-operation with American Friends of Germany, a charitable auction of art. Half of the revenue was donated to American Friends of Germany by the gallery´s German-American owner Ms. Helen Hoffmann and the German and American artists. At the end, three pictures could be sold and AFoG received over 1.000,- € which will further help the organization foster its charitable goals. Moreover, the auction emerged as a great opportunity for AFoG to get into conversation with guests on the purposes of the charity organization. It was specifically motivating that even American citizens living in Germany were among the guests.
It was the first event of this kind and a great success. American Friends of Germany is looking forward to organizing further actions of this kind in the future.
We want to say thank you to everybody who contributed and supported AFoG by attending the auction.
